Rolex watch collectors will be interested to learn how to find Rolex Clasp Codes and what they mean. Well, as experts when it comes to luxury watches, we always try to empower our clients, so here’s what you need to know! The Rolex clasp code is located inside the clasp hinge. The code is based on the month and year the clasp was manufactured.
Once you have found the Rolex clasp, you’ll find 1 to 2 letters followed by a number. The letters reflect the year and the number refers to the month. So, for example, G4 would be manufactured in April 1982. If the item includes a ‘S’ stamped along with the year, you’ll know it was a service replacement.
